She holds advanced qualifications including MD (Hons), MRCpsych, MSc Perinatal Mental Health (Hons), and MA Perinatal Integrative Psychotherapy (Hons). Dr. Giacobone takes an integrative approach, combining evidence-based psychopharmacology with trauma-informed psychotherapy, and is an active member of the Perinatal Psychiatry Special Interest Group within the College of Psychiatrists of Ireland.
